AristaMD Honored at 2019 Top Tech Awards
Travis Fawcett Recognized for Outstanding Efforts and Leadership
SAN DIEGO, California – May 16, 2019 – Travis Fawcett, director of software engineering at AristaMD, a San Diego tech startup and innovative telehealth platform that delivers timely, documented access to specialist insight through eConsults, was recently honored with the 2019 Top Tech Award in the startup category. The Top Tech Awards honor outstanding technology leaders who work in San Diego, as nominated by their peers and clients.
Fawcett received the honor for his standout efforts in restructuring processes and capabilities, implementing a data warehouse, and addressing a much-needed engineering change. Fawcett is responsible for the data warehouse which has allowed stakeholders quicker access to data insights – what took days in 2017, now takes hours. Under Fawcett’s leadership, his team successfully demonstrated AristaMD’s fully integrated application into Epic Systems, which has given the company a significant competitive advantage.
